    AN AUTUMN WEDDING.

    The Cannada-Hanlon Nup-
    Tials Celbrated Last
    Evening.

    A VERY PLEASANT SOCIAL EVENT.

The announcement last week of the approaching marriage of Miss Frances Hanlon and Mr. Frank B. Cannada, though a complete surprise to their friends, was received with no end of delightful anticipation in the social circles of this city, where bother parties are favorites. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride last evening at eight oclock by Rev. F. E. Alleyne, of Alexandria, who used the beautiful ring service of the Episcopal church, made more beautiful and impressive by the adaptation of the popular rector. The bride was charmingly attired in a cream colored gown and carried brides roses. Her bridesmaid was Miss Lottie Van Duzer, of St. Paul, who wore dotted Swiss with pink roses. The groom was attended by Mr. Wm. Simonson. The wedding march was played by Miss Mabel Johnson. After the ceremony the popular groom and his charming bride were showered with the heartiest of congratulations and best wishes by the friends and acquaintances of years, who had the courage to face the mud and Egyptian darkness to be present. After the ceremony an elaborate wedding supper was served. The wedding presents were numerous and strikingly appropriate and valuable.

The bride is the second daughter of Mr. Henry Hanlon, late deceased, and a highly accomplished and lovely young woman. The groom is the junior member of the firm of Yates & Cannada, lumber dealers, one of the most successful and enterprising business firms of our progressive city. Mr. and Mrs. Cannada will be at home for the present at the Hanlon residence.,

The present at the services were:

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Yates, G. E. Lamphear, A. D. Sargent, A. O. Chapin, Jas. Yates, J. A. Stillwell, Jacob Bowman, Wm. Hanlon, C. H. Bronson, Misses Bertha Schroeder, Mabel and Nona Johnson, Martha McSevany, Della and Neva Faillie, Nellie and Elsie Chapin, May and Effie Long, and Messrs. Vila Simonson, Kobe, Borchert, Allie Faille, Harry Chapin, Geo. Sargent, John A. Swore and Wm. Ellsworth.
