  • Note: He enlisted in the Union Army at the time of the Civil War, in Company G, Ninety-first Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, October 22, 1861. After participating in the battle of Gettysburg, July 1863, he was overcome by heat on the march, this resulting in his death.
