    Halqua "Hal" O. Duke, 90, of Indianapolis, went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 21, 2008. Born March 29, 1917, in Scottsville, KY, he was the son of Thomas and Lela Bell (Blankenship) Duke, who preceded him in death. Hal was in marketing and sales for various furniture stores for 35 years retiring in 1981. He was a member of Meridian Church of God, and a World War II Army Veteran.
    Survivors include his wife, Margaret E. (Brady) Duke; his brother, Artie Duke; his sister, Clarice Richardson; along with several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, with entombment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
