        Funeral services for James Walker "Bud" Fagg, 64, of 826 Newbern Road, who died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at his home following several years of declining health, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Aldersgate Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Eugene Vestal officiating, assisted by the Rev. Burchell Moss. Interment will follow in Thornspring cemetery.

        A local merchant and businessman, he was born in Grayson county in 1892 the son of the late James Anderson and Mary Flinchum Fagg and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Price Fagg, one daughter, Mrs. Maybelle Scalco Jr., of Norfolk; two brothers, H.. L. Fagg of Radford and Roy Daniel Fagg, of Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Haley and Mrs. Ruth Casto, both of Norfolk and Mrs. Clifton Linkous, of Pulaski. Also, two grandchildren.

        Members of the WSCS will serve as flowerbearers. Active pallbearers will include Forest Haley, Jim Haley, Perry Haley, Roby Newman, Bruce Nelson and Houston Wingo.

        The body will remain at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funera1 Home until one hour before services, at which time it will be taken to the church to lie in state.
