      Note: STEWART, John Burrell, 76, of Vinton, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2003
      at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Glenna
      Richardson Stewart; a brother, W.P. Stewart, Jr. Mr. Stewart was World War
      II Veteran of the U.S. Navy and he was a brickmason for many years. He is
      survived by one brother, Kenneth Stewart of Salem; two sisters and
      brother-in-law, Dorothy Jennings of Salem, Mary (Betsy) and Julian Brammer
      of Christiansburg; several nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Duane
      Wheeler of Salem; a special friend, Lorraine Trent of Roanoke. Graveside
      services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at Richardson Family
      Cemetery in Montgomery County with the Rev. Ben Whitaker officiating. The
      family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Lotz Salem
      Chapel.
