      WILSON, Nellie Howard, 88, of Riner, died Monday, March 8, 1999, in a Radford hospital. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maxine Miller on February 28, 1999. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Charley and Joyce Howard of Riner; six daughters and four sons-in-law, Stella Kozar of Christiansburg, Melba Kozar, Lucy and George Hale, Annie and Richard Caldwell, Shirley and David Reed, Sandra and Ray Gibson, all of Riner; 35 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grand-children; and two sisters, Bessie Gruver of Riner and Ollie Gruver of Kansas. Funeral service Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Christiansburg Wesleyan Church with Rev. David Hurd officiating. Interment will be in the Howard Cemetery, Riner. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
