        RICHARDSON, Edward Junior, 79, of Shawsville, passed away Monday, October 9, 2000. He was born September 28, 1921, in Shawsville, a son of the late Powell Edward Richardson and Mellie Hamblin Richardson. A veteran of World War II, having served aboard the naval cruiser "USS Biloxi" in the South Pacific during 11 major battles, he served recently in another battle, the most major battle of his life and has now won the crown he so richly deserved and is at home in glory, received by all
