    KEEN - Mrs. Mildred Keen, 81, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998 in Palatka, Florida. Mrs. Keen was born in Portsmouth, VA and lived in Jax many years before moving to Interlachen, FL. She was retired from Turner Electric Works and a member of Dinsmore Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Niles A. Keen, October 22, 1991 and her son, Robert G. (Bobby) Bowles, Jr., June 23, 1994. Survivors are: Daughter-in-law Patricia Bowles, 4 grandchildren, Mark R. (Donna) Bowles, Pamela (Rob) Kittle, Travis G. (Selene) Bowles, Angela (Devon) Carnot. Five great grandchildren, Shannon and Patrick Bowles, Robbie and Matthew Kittle and Travis Bowles, Jr. A brother, James A. Jones, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 6, 1998, chapel of PEEPLES FUNERAL HOME, 2220 Soutel Dr. near Lem Turner Rd. Burial Edgewood Cemetery. Family to receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
