    !as early as 1789 Moses owned 157 acres on Indian Creek, a Few miles east of
    Cynthia , Kentucky . Aron Endecott. Nephew of Moses bought the land om 1835
    when moses estate was settled . Arron's Granddaughter , Jessie Belle Endecott
    and her mother now own the farm (1941)- Some decendents of John Endecott . Gov
    of mass. Bay Colony - Mabel Mcfatrige McClosky .
    !Moses Volunteered in October 1777,as Minute Man from Surry Co. North Carolina
    Served 3 months under Capt.William Hardin. Col Joseph William Regiment North
    Carolina Milita . From March 1778 to march 1780.He served under Capt.William
    Underwood,who companded a Company of Horse in Col. Benjamin Cleavland Regiment
    of North Carolina Troops engaged in Expedition against the Tories.In March
    1780, He packed lead from Chisler Mine on New River in Virginia for the Army.
    He was in the Service from 1778 to 1781 in North Carolina and remained there
    untill 1786 , When he Moved to Cynthiana , Harrison Co.Kentucky and Bought Land
    on Indain Creek just a few miles from Cythiana, Ky. Four miles east of
    Cynthiana on the main highway to Millersburg is the oldest Baptist church on
    this side of the Allegheny Mts.The Original building , on the original site,is
    in continues service . The Endicots aided by their neighbors errected this
    church which was known as the Endicotts Meeting House built near the waters of
    Indian Creek . The Church was built of great white oak logs . The Pulpit is
    in the back facing the front . as was the custom in early days , The men
    entered by the left door and the women by the right door . The years passed
    and the great hewed logs were covered with weather boarding and the clapboard
    roof was replaced with Shingles . Recently the Church has been painted white
    and reroofed . Just when the church was renamed the Indian Creek Baptist church
    is not known . On July 31,1938- A celebration was held celebrated the 148
    Aniversery of the church . After the Death of Moses the Family must have moved
    to Posey Co. Indiana " Sworn statement dated July 27,1855 by Willmott Endicott
    says that Moses died of Malignant Fever one month after their Marriage .
