I saw your info on ancestry family tree. Robert Wesley Rudd, born 1841... Believe his wife's name may have been Hannah C. Williamson. She is named Hannah on census records and also on her son Edward's death certificate. Edward's middle name is hard to read on his death cert but I believe it is Simpson (it could possibly be Sampson). He was born 4-19-1878 in Ballard County, KY, and died 2-17-1915 in Carlisle County, KY. He is buried in Carlisle in Kirbyton Cemetery. He married Alice McGary, born Sept 1882. She was the daughter of Patrick Henry McGary and Lucretia Emeline Stephens. What makes this interesting is that Patrick's parents were Harden McGary and Sarah Ashbrook of Chesterfield Co, VA, and Harden's parents were Thomas Duke McGary and Mary "Polly" Rudd of Chesterfield Co. I have wondered if there could be a connection between the Polly and the other Rudds.
Edward and Alice McGary Rudd had three children that I know of... Lillard born 3-5-1902 died 10-14-1967, Wesley born 7-22-1903 died 8-31-1970, and Leloid??? I can't read the last kid's name on the census and haven't found mention of him anywhere else.
