According to my records Johann Jost Kuntze was the son of Johannes Kuntze
1671-1713/14, and his second wife, Anna Gertrud Steiger. Children of
Johannes Cuntze and Anna Steiger are: Christian Cuntze, b. 1705 d. July 18,
1731,Anna Margarethe Cuntze, b. 1707 d. July 18, 1731; Anna Maria Cuntze b.
1709, Johann Jost Kuntze b.1712 d. 1794; Cathrin Kuntze b. 1713 d 1715

The first wife of Johannes Kuntze was Catherine Daub. Their children were
Tillman Kuntze 1700-1701, and Anna Margarethe Kuntze, 1701. She married
Tilman Weissgerber.

I do have documentation that my great-grandmother was the daughter of John
Buchanan Coons and the granddaughter of Jacob Coons and Matilda Jane Howe.

Information about Jacob's ancestry has been passed on to me from a relative.
I don't have any idea of the source of the information earlier than Jacob or
whether it is accurate.

If anyone has information regarding the accuracy/inaccuracy of this
genealogy, I'd love to hear it! Also, if anyone knows what sources I could
use to document this Coons line, I'd appreciate it.
