Text: The letter and marriage records below were received from Dorothy Danks in 1993. I scanned two pages of marriage records and corrected the scanning results. As scanned, these records are at least second generation copies of the originals. J.M. Ingalls, 4 Aug 2003.

Sept. 24, 1993
Dear Jay,
I just happended to see the enclosed while looking for something else. I thought you would like to have it.
Some records are in the process of micro-filmed. They were found in an attic in the Henderson Town Barn!
I have searched through the Ingalls Genealogy which we now have in Watertown & found just one page that mentions Henderson.
I am interested because my great grandmother's sister in Henderson married one ot the Ingalls there - on my father's side.
My great, great, great grandmother on my mother's (Adams) side was Hannah, daughter of Solomon, Sr.
I am still unable to find Laura of Little House in the book.
I believe the marriages were a record of a justice recently donated. The witnesses were neighbors of my Nutting ancestors and the Ingalls land adjoined their land.
There are very few records in Jefferson County that go back this far.
The C.E. Ingalls was a descendant of Hannah's brother.
The Ingalls and Adams first went to Rodman around 1805 and were probably all related. My husband is pastor of the Rodman Church. The old records are full of Ingalls.
Sincerely, Dorothy Danks
