    Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Monday, 2 Feb 1931, p. 2, c. 4: Perry A. Knotts, a resident of Gold Hill practically all his lifetime, coming there when a small child from his birthplace near Roseburg, died at his home at Gold Hill at 4:00 a.m. today at the age of 57. Mr. Knotts had suffered greatly for the last few months and his passing was not unexpected. He was a member of the Gold Hill lodge of Odd Fellows and leaves four children: William Knotts of Chicago, Hazel Tresham of Gold Hill, Otto Knotts of Bishop, Calif., and E. L. of Oakland, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted at the Odd Fellows hall of Gold Hill at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in Gold Hill cemetery. Conger Funeral Parlors in charge.
