The author of the biographical information on the Simon de Montfort Society's website suggests that Robert's sister Alice's mother was Sybilla Corbett, the daughter of Sir Robert Corbet of Alcester, co. Warwick, and afterwards the wife of Herbert FitzHerbert (d. by 1165). Sybilla was a mistress of Henry I, and Alison Weir in 'Britain's Royal Families' (which I prefer to take as my reference) names six children that she bore him, but Alice was not one of them. Alison Weir names Alice in her list of children by unknown mothers.
