    Military Experience: Professional soldier and Officer of the Regular Army from 1941 through 1962. Service performed in the Field Artillery in Europe with the 83rd Infantry Division. Served in Korea in 1950-51, with 8th Army units, including service with the British 27th Regiment. Served as an advisor to the Turkish Army from 1954 through 1956 at Ankara, Turkey, with the US Army Group. Attended the Army Command and General Staff College in 1959-60. Served overseas again with the 7th US Army as a General Staff Officer and Ground Liaison Officer with the US Airforce. Stationed at Etain AFB, France. Retired as Major, Field Artillery in 1962.

    Nancy Lee Grimes b. May 7, 1902, Troy TN. m. Allen Posey, b. Dec 11, 1898, Obion, TN., m. Nov 11, 1921, Blytheville, AR. Allen Posey d. Jul 4, 1977, Nancy Posey d. Jun 23, 1984. Both are bur in the Masonic Cem, Bismarck, MO.
    Military Service: Allen Posey first served with the Arkansas National Guard Company M. on the Mexican border in 1916, stationed at Deming New Mexico, a short distance from Villa's raid and massacre on Columbus. Company M was brigaded with the 2nd Arkansas Infantry, Company M was at General Pershing's rail headquarters. After being mustered out of service the company was called back in service 10 days later when war was declared, and was the first company to become mobilized and reported to Fort Logan H. Roots. Mustered into Federal service at Camp Pike, Little Rock, Arkansas, in June 1917, this company became part of the 153rd Infantry, U. S. Army. This group served overseas in World War I as replacements for the 3rd Army and fought battles in Belgian Woods, Chateau Theiry and Argonne.
