Derry William "Bill" Decker, 74, passed from this life on Friday, Nov. 1 6, 2007, at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center after a brief illness with h is family by his side. Derry was born on March 11, 1933 in Dover-Foxcrof t, Maine, to Everett Anson Decker and Gertrude May (Young) Decker. Der ry is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Decker; daughter, Tonya (Andre w) McLachlan; son, Timothy (Maria) Decker; granddaughters, Kristin (Robbi e) Kummer, Katie McLachlan and Kelsey McLachlan; sisters, Kathryn Merri ll Dean, Barbara (Byron) Burrill and Theresa Pratt; brothers, Keith Decke r, Murray (Mary) Decker; brothers-in-law, John Conner, Richard (Shirley) C onner, Omar Conner, Riley Conner and Earl Brashear; many nieces and nephe ws as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in dea th by his brothers, Merlin, Lynwood, Everett and Paul; sister, Ivy; mother -in-law, Minnie (Leon) Harp; and father-in-law, Everett Conner. Visitatio n, 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday; both at the funeral hom e. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, Sacred Heart Cathedra l.
