'From Hopewell Friends History' - Simeon was the 1st cl erk of the Hopewell MM, having arrived there with a certificate from E. Nottingham dated 4th mont h, 1739 for himself and his wife.
In 1764, Simeon left Hopewell for New Garden meeting in North Carolina, w ith certificate issued for self, wife, kids John and Ann. (Unclear why Michau d then lists birthplace as Hopewell).
