    Mrs. Laura Esther Barbour, 94, 599 Federal Road, died Wednesday night at Britthaven of Smithfield. Mrs. Barbour was born August 13, 1902 to David Almon and Helen Stancil Cobb. She was a member of St. Mary's Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the church, Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.

    Mrs. Barbour was predeceased by her husband, Williard Ezra Barbour and her son Willard Cleon Barbour. Survivors: granddaughter, Gloria Johnson of Benson; grandsons, Ashley Barbour of Rockport, Ma., Rodney Barbour of Benson, Mark Barbour of Peachtree City, Ga., Kevin Barbour of Benson; sister, Lyda Highful of Greensboro; great-grand-children, John Benson, Clint Barbour, Shannon Barbour, Leslie Barbour, Jamie Corley; great-great-grandchildren, Brittany Corley, Jordan Corley.

    Family will be at Minshew Funeral Home Friday 7-9 p.m.
