Mrs. Beulah Love Clifton, 88, of 8739 NC Hwy. 50 North died Tues. at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Smithfield. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thurs. at Johnson Memorial Church, Angier. Revs. Murray King and R.B. Parrish will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Clifton was born in Johnston County May 4, 1909, to the late Early and Dessie Wiggins Love. She was a homemaker and was a member of Johnson Memorial Church. She was preceded in death by a son, J.O. Clifton, Jr.

Surviving include husband, J.O. Clifton, Sr.; daughters, Edith C. Ogburn of Willow Spring and Kay C. Byrd of Raleigh; son, Don Clifton of Benson; sisters, Louise L. Clifton of Benson, Velma L. Morgan of Raleigh, Caroline L. Spence of Tampa, FL, and Rose L. Barnes of Jonesville; and brothers, Ervin Love of Angier and Thurman Love of Butner; six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

The family will be at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, Benson, 7-9 p.m. Wed. Family suggests memorials be made to Johnson Memorial Church Building Fund, 8280 NC Hwy 50 North, Angier, NC 27501.
