    ERWIN -- Junior Calvin "J.C." Lucas, 73, of 61 Farmer Lane, died Tuesday in Good Hope Hospital. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Midway Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Revs. Randy Anderson, Virgil Murphy and Billy Nowell. Burial will be in Erwin Memorial Park.

    Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife, Judy M. Lucas of Erwin; two sons, Terry Lucas of Dunn and Ricky Lucas of Erwin; a stepson, James Lucas of Huntersville; a stepdaughter, LaRue Lee of Erwin; three sisters, Ruby Buffkin of Benson, Thelma Parrish of Erwin and Maurine Martin of Garner; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Price Funeral Home in Erwin.
