    Christine Young Dupree, 83, of 944 Dupree Road, Willow Spring, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center. The Harnett County native was born March 31, 1924, to the late Lester and Sarah Pleasant Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Young Dupree. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Angier. Burial will follow at Sandy Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

    Survivors include daughters, Cathy Snipes and husband Larry of Dunn, Teresa Stauffer and husband Ross of Garner; a son, Jimmy Dupree of Willow Spring; sisters, Edna Earl Kelly of Fuquay-Varina and Cleo Johnson of Angier; former daughter-in-law, Barbara Dupree; grandchildren, Ryan and Chris Dupree, Kevin Snipes, Suzanne McCall, Brandon and Travis Parrish; and five great-grandchildren.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center, 185 Pine State St., Lillington, NC 27546.
