Clyda Barnes Wilmoth, 93, of Coats died Sunday morning, Sept. 17, 2006, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The Johnston County native was the daughter of the late Nessie and Flonnie G. Barnes. She was preceded in death by brothers, Dennis Barnes and Wallace Barnes; sisters, Marie Clayton, Pearl Ingram and Reba Parrish; and a son-in-law, Haywood Williams. She was a member of Gift Primitive Baptist Church in Coats. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home in Dunn by the Rev. Louis Strickland and Elder Fred Williams. Burial will follow at Coats City Cemetery.

Survivors include daughters, Gloria Hough and husband Stewart of Fayetteville, Rosa Sharp and husband Ralph of Neeses, S.C., Mary Williams of Charlotte, Becky Taylor and husband Earl of Dunn; grandchildren, Lisa Barfield, Lori Murphy, Randy Sharp, Donna Livingston, Rhonda Robinson, Romona Midkiff, Gina Sinacori, Kim Christy, Tommy Williams and Chad Taylor; great-grandchildren, Lauren Raymes, Emily Raymes, Ryan Murphy, Amanda Chisom, Rachelle Jeffcoat, Zackary Livingston, Christopher Midkiff, Dustin Midkiff, Reece Sinacori, Bryce Sinacori and Connor Sinacori; great-great-grandchild, Riley Jeffcoat; and a sister, Etta Cobb of Angier.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
