DUNN -- Clifford M. Pleasant, 79, of Route 3, Box 487, died Monday in Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was a farmer. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rose & Graham Funeral Home chapel in Benson by the Revs. Bobby Caudle and Jerome Pope. Burial will be in Bethsadia Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Pleasant is survived by three sons, Larry Pleasant, Ronald Pleasant and Jerry Pleasant, all of Dunn; two daughters, Carolyn Whittington and Shirley Pleasant, both of Dunn; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
