    Elizabeth b: abt. 1622 married 1st WILLIAM WORSHAM. After William died Eli zabeth married 2nd FRANCES EPES abt. 1661 in Henrico County, Virginia .. .. FRANCES EPPES had a son FRANCES EPPES by his 1st marriage, a probable d escendant of this FRANCES EPES was a SARAH EPPES. Sarah married WILLIAM PO YTHRESS who died 1750, an epitaph at Blandford Church, Petersburg, Virgin ia states 'Here lies the corpse of Sarah Paythress, daughter of Frances Ep pes and wife to Colonel William Poythress who died --broken stone-- Octob er 1750, aged 48 years'.

    Elizabeth’s will

    Elizabeth left a will in Henrico County in 1678 remembering daughter Eliza beth Kennon and her daughter Mary Kennon, daughter Mary Epes, son John Wor sham, and her husband Epes’ children, whom she did not name (will dat ed 28 Aug. 1678, recorded 1 Oct. 1678 ).

    She amended the will 23 September 1678 to confirm gifts to children by h er first husband, William Worsham, including John and Charles, and to divi de the rest of her estate among children she had by her late husband Franc is Epes, namely William Epes, Littlebury Epes, and Mary Epes. She appoint ed executors son-in-law Richard Kennon and stepson Francis Epes.

    County, VA (Note 28, Charles City Co, VA Order Book 1737-1751, p5, 3B3.)
    MARY EPES -- born abt. 1666 Henrico Co, VA married JOHN HARDEMAN by June
    1685 as on that date JOHN HARDEMAN petitioned the Court probably in
    connection with the settlement of his wife's portion of her father's
    estate (Note 29 Henrico Co, VA Order Book 1678-1693, p192). JOHN HARDEMAN
    did not leave a Will.
