    Obituary
    Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Smith
    Funeral services were held on Monday November 26 for Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Smith, a lifelong resident of Little Current. Mr. Smith died at her home at Little Current, Saturday, November 23.
    A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cameron Oliver, Mrs. Smith was born and educated in Little Current.
    In 1895? She married the late Charles Clark. Later, following Mr. Clark's death, she married Captain Smith in 1926?.
    In her early life she spent some time with the Hudson Bay Company at Hudson later. Following her marriage to Captain Smith, she spent considerable time sailing and acted as cook on her husband's boat.
    Following the death of Captain Smith and in her later years she spent the summer at her home in Little Current, and the winters with her daughter Mrs. Rita Clark Thompson, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
    Besides her daughter Rita, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Letitia Kussers of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Mrs. Gertrude (Davus) Royal Oak, Michigan.
    Funeral service was held from the Tracy Funeral Home, Little Current, was conducted by Rev. Robert Wagner, of Little Current United Church.
    Interment took place at Mountain View Cemetery.
