  • Note: William T. Inman was a confederate soldier in Co. A of the 42nd MS Regiment, Carroll Fencibles. He fought at Gettysburg and various battles in VA, including Petersburg. This information is from the "Military Annals of Carroll County" by W. F. Hami lton.

  • Note: There is a Ned Inman mentioned in the family bible but it is not clear if he was a son or brother to William T.
  • Note: 1860 CENSUS - Carrollton, Carroll, MS pg. 799 #15 with Ben Galford family.
  • Note: His first wife was Elizabeth Carroll, daughter of Richmond Carroll. His second wife was the grandaughter of the same Richmond Carroll.
