    Fred I. Inman
    Born August 3, 1845 in Evansville, IN and died June 7, 1923. The family, including 2 other sons, moved to Crockett's Bluff, AR where 2 daughters were born. At age 17 Fred enlisted in the Confederate Army. He was in several battles and had 2 hors es shot out from under him. After the war he lived in Pochantas, AR where he engaged in the mercantile business. He married Elnora Jamison and they had 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls. Leaving mercantile, he went into the steamboat business. Af ter the death of Elnora, he moved to Black Rock AR where he married Mrs. Sarah Goodrich. They moved to Springfield MO and then to Mountain Grove in 1912. He was a Mason and was survived by one son, F. L. and one daughter Mrs. Frank Bedgood . He was a member of the M. E.
