    There was probably a first marriage of Robert Inman which resulted in the birth of Catherine Jane (Brisendine) who is mentioned in his will. In the 1860 census of Cocke Co., TN a Catherine J. Inman, 8, is living with Elizabeth Driskill, 76 whil e Robert is living with his brother-in-law, John Wood.
