  • Note: > Charles' death certificate lists his father as Steven Inman and his mother as an Esten. On a land record from VA, Joseph Inman of Smithfield purchased land and when it was sold in 1810 the deed listed a son Nathan, born about 1778, and a son Ste ven, born about 1780 who was married to Amey Esten, 1800.
