    > I notice that you used to have a Carl Inman in the database with the same birthdate as Earl P. Inman. This is an error, as there was no Carl. The mistake is one that has been perpetuated by an incorrect name on a death record, which I believe wa s transcribed by the LDS. I have noticed a few others, which I know were also taken from the LDS, and submitted by an ancestor of the above Thomas Eddy Inman.
    > On many of the later descendants of Thomas, he gave birthplaces as New York, when they should have been other locations. He also adopted Thomas' parents as Elijah Inman and Susanna Inman of the Wyoming Valley (parents of Richard, Edward, etc) . This was simply a case of wishful thinking on his part, due to the romance and excitement of the Wyoming Valley Massacre.
    > Almost every other serious Inman researcher, including Ruth May, and others, are convinced that Thomas is actually the son of Oziel and Ruth (Eddy) Inman, although there has never been anyone fortunate enough to find any primary source to prov e it.
