  • Note: > In 1866 Robert was united in marriage to Hannah Ward Durnil. They made their home on a farm near Osawatomie in Miami County, Kansas, until moving (after 1880) to western Kansas near Long Island. Farming in western Kansas wasn't the best, so the y decided to follow Robert's sister and move to Wright County in 1891, settling on a farm south of Norwood.
