Note: The Vidette-Messenger: Opal K. (Moler) Morgan, 87, of Indianapolis, died Friday, Sept. 30, 1994, at Methodist Hospital. A graduate of Cedar Rapids Business College, Mrs. Morgan was a denominational leader for the Church of the Nazarene at the district level from 1950-1965. She became the legal secretary for attorney John Gardis of Kroger, Gardis and Regis. She retired in 1978. She was a member of Castleton Church of the Nazarene, where she had served as church board secretary; past president of the Nazarene World Missionary Society, and had helped to raise over $6 million for the Nazarene Missions during the course of her involvement. Surviving are a daughter, Dell V. Morgan; son, Don L. Morgan; sister Gladys A. Moler; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services 10 a.m Tuesday at the Castleton Church of the Nazarene; Rev. Arthur C. Morgan officiating; burial at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso; graveside services 3 p.m. Tuesday at Graceland Cemetery; visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Castleton Church of the Nazarene; Flanner/Buchanan Broad Ripple handling arrangements. Memorials to the Nazarene World Missionary Society.
