In 1959 Frank W. Broad was living in Bethlehem, PA. In 1963 he lived at 718 W. Market St., Bethlehem. He was graduated from Easton High School in 1925 and from East Stroudsburg State College in 1928. While attending Easton High School, he was a member of the famous 1924 football team. Frank became affiliated with playground work in Easton after studying at ESSC and Moravian College. He became physical education supervisor for Bethlehem schools in 1930. In addition to his school post, he served as superintendent of Bethlehem city recreation from 1946 to 1948. He also served as acting director for a three-year period during WW II. He was a member of the boards of the Lehigh Valley Heart Association and the Northampton County Unit, American Cancer Society. He served on the state Curriculum Planning Commission for Physical Education and was a member of the former Gov. Lawrence's Council on Physical Fitness. He was a member of Bethany UCC, Bethlehem. Frank and his wife, Katherine, are buried next to Frank's parents in Section P, plot #177, in Easton Cemetery.
