    In 1850 Elizabeth (Huffschmidt) Fisher, age 61, was living in Polk Twp., Monroe Co., PA with her husband, Dewald Fisher age 65 a farmer. Also living in their household were Charles Haney (listed in the census as "Heaney") age 18 a laborer, and his sister, Julia Ann Haney age 16, children of Elizabeth's deceased sister, Juliana (Huffschmidt) Haney. (1850 census, microfilm roll #798, Monroe Co., PA, pg. 81A, Polk Twp., house #48, family #48)

    No evidence has ever been found to indicate that Elizabeth and Dewald Fischer ever had any children. Their burial location is not known.
