Ida M. Rumfelt, 72, of Lebanon, died Monday, June 21, 2004, at St. John's Hospital-Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 29, 1932, in Grovespring, to Cleveland J. Crain and Erma Mae (Hightower) Crain.
On Sept. 12, 1951, she married Norman Rumfelt, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Donald Rumfelt and Larry Gene Rumfelt; a daughter, Linda Hough; a sister, Nadine Stone; and two brothers, James and Jack Crain.
She was a homemaker and attended Competition Baptist Church.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Cindy Wellman, Angela Gregory, Melissa Parson and Wesley Rumfelt; a sister, Ann Griffen of Lebanon; two brothers-in-law, Dwain Rumfelt and Albert (Junior) Stone; two sisters-in-law, Goldie Landman and Hazel Caudle; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Ida M. Rumfelt will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004, at Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Bates officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park under the direction of Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.
