    Originally I had 1810 as birth with no death date. Based on tombstone transcription at Lile Cemetery, I have calculated the birth date as 10 Apr 1796.--Rose Lee Wall 2009

    He was a farmer in Daviess County, Missouri, in 1850 raising 5 children on his own. His wife had died the year before. He was farming in Daviess County, Missouri in 1860 with his son John living at home. He also is listed with his new wife Mary and her 1/2 brother Edward Clingan.
