    Had a birth location of Laurens County, South Carolina. It wasn't formed until 1785. The parent county Ninety-Six District wasn't formed until 1769 and it was the original one. Henry Box was the founder of St. Clair County, Alabama and first Judge. The dates of 1765-1835 and the full name of Henry Robert Box were from the memorial at FindAGrave.com for grandson Leroy Box.

    Several other Gedcoms have the name as Henry J. Box.

    A memorial at FindAGrave.com for daughter Levina Box Adams gave his dates as 1770-1845.
