Note:
Rebecca was originally buried in the Pioneer Cemetery. Her remains were moved to the Oak Hill Cemetery in 1871 along with the remains of John, Nancy Corel, Henry Corel, William Corel and Margaret Corel.In 1854, Rebecca along with all the Missouri Corels moved into Douglas County, Kansas Territory. They settled in two areas, one group settling near what is now Clinton. Rebecca settled on a quarter section just east of Lawrence.
Legal description is: Township 12, Range 20, Section 32, Lots 1 and 2.
