Excerpts of Alice Irene's obit: ..."Has been a resident of Christian Co all her life, except a few years residence in Coles Co. . . .She leaves her mother, who is now near death at her home in Grenola,( Elk Co.) KS, her husband-Charles. Eight children were born to them: MRS. ELSA LAW of Owaneco; GRACE HAGUE of Springfield, (IL); MARY HAGUE of Assumption; HAROLD HAGUE of Denver, Colo; MRS. SUSIE WALKER of Clarksdale; MILDRED; JOE T; and HERMAN at home. Five brothers- HERMAN DE MOSS of Hendley, NE; CLARENCE DE MOSS of Webb, OK; ED DE MOSS of Hansen, Idaho; CHARLES and ERNEST of Grenola, KS. Eight grandchildren also survive. ...Member of M.E. church of Owaneco-funeral there. Burial in Fraley cemetery."

The Decatur Review Monday, Dec. 6, 1926 HAGUE FUNERAL. The Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Irene Hague, 52, who died at her home north of Owaneco Friday night following an illness of four months, were held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the Methodist church in Owaneco, Rev. Mr. Bloomater, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial following in the Fraley cemetery, three miles east of Taylorville. She was born in Christian County, Sept. 12, 1874, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Demoss, and was united in marriage Feb, 19, 1892, to Charles Hague, who survives. She was a member of the Methodist church of Owaneco. Besides her husband she is survived by eitht children, Mrs. Elsie Law, Owaneco; Mrs. Susie Walker, Clarksdale; Grace Hague, Springfield; Mary Hague, Assumption; Harold, Denver, Colo.; Mildred, Joe and Hermon at home. Eight grandchildren and five brothers also are living.
