Dear Bro. and Sister and Kids this is a picture of the room that we live in here. This was taken about a week ago so you can see that I am not dead yet. I am ashamed of myself for not writing sooner. Will try to do better in the future. Haven't heard from Tobe but once. I answered him, but have recieved no reply. Tell me about him. We go to the P.I. in July. Via Suaz Canal. Items of News from Taylorville
Taylorville, June 24 -- J. T Danford, formerly of Owaneco, has just completed a fifteen year service in the regular army and will arive in Stonington today to visit his father, P. T. Danford. Mr. Danford was a member of the Twelfth United States infantry and has had several years service in the Philippines. He will reenlist in a few months and serve an additional three years, after which he will be placed on the retired list.
