    ACTOR DIES AT STONINGTON HOME
    Carl Danford Was Getting Ready for Stage in Fall.
    Stonington, Aug. 9 -- Carl Danford, son of Mr and Mrs P T Danford, died at his home here Saturday afternoon about 4:45 of heart and stomach trouble.
    He has been in the show business for several years, and has had bad health, the past two years. He spent the summer here resting up, intending to go on the road, Sept. 1.
    He is survived by his wife, parents, several brothers and one sister.
