    Marc Anthony Parrone, Jr., 26, died Jan. 28, 2010, in Mililani, Hawaii. He was born in Belleville, Ill., Jan. 3, 1984, to Marc and Ann, nee Welker, Parrone.
    Marc graduated in 2002 from Belleville East High School where he was a member of the wrestling team and DECA club. He was employed as a photographer at Schofield Barracks and Fort Shafter Army Posts on Oahu. Marc recently enlisted into the Army and was waiting for Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) as a combat photographer.
    Marc's true loves were cooking and music. He often feasted friends and family, taking great pleasure in concocting his own recipes, music being one of the most important ingredients as he danced around the kitchen when he cooked. Marc's sense of humor and joy of life will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Dorothy, nee Nicole, Welker; and his two uncles, Roy Welker, Jr., and Tom Maulding.
    Marc is survived by his parents, Marc and Ann Parrone of Mililani, Hawaii; his sister Maryann Parrone of Portland, Ore.; his grandparents, Don and Joyce, nee Simpson, Parrone of Swansea, Ill.; his aunts and uncles, Donna Parrone (Jeff Hirsch) of St. Louis, Mo., Scott (Cindy) Parrone of Murphysboro, Ill., Marynelle Maulding of Fairview Heights, Ill., Janet (Ted) Chochorowski of Highland, Ill., and Maggie (Doug) Wheat of Troy, Ill.; his cousins, Caroline, Vincent, Veronika and Mason, Stephen, Joanne, Matthew, Roy, Angela, Jennifer, Doug, Chris, Katie and Colby; and his dog, Henry.
    Thank you to all our friends and family who have provided support in this difficult time.
