METROPOLIS, Ill. — Mr. Norman H. Hall, 85, of Metropolis passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky., at 9:23 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Metropolis with the Rev. Cliff Easter officiating. Burial will follow at Metropolis Memorial Gardens.
Norman is survived by one daughter, Teri van der Mast of Yucca Valley, Calif.; one son, Jim Hall and wife Jaci of Greenbrier, Tenn.; one grandson, Karson Kelley of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Hurmas C. Hall and Henrietta C. Eckenberg Hall; his wife for over 50 years, Joan; three brothers; and four sisters.
He was a member of Metropolis First Baptist Church and the owner of Hall’s Garage in Metropolis.
Friends may call at the First Baptist Church after 9 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009. Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
