CAUTION: Elizabeth's last name as shown here - "Robison" - is not proven, and should be considered as speculative only at this time. See notes under Thomas Thompson, her supposed husband.
-------------------------
In the 1790 census, Elizabeth was listed very near to Francis Robbeson (Robison). By the 1800 census, he was living in Montgomery Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth was probably living in Hamilton Township. The grantor index of Franklin County shows that the heirs of Thomas Thompson sold a tract of land containing 57 acres and 132 perches to Francis Robinson in 1785. Thomas Thompson previously had sold, in 1776, a part of this land to Alexander Thompson. Possible sons of Thomas Thompson and Elizabeth may be Alexander, John, Robert, and David. These are all speculative. There may be connections with the Moorhead / Morehead and Robison families. Francis Robison left a will in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. His children were: John, Margaret, Joseph, Mary, Adam, Esther, Charles, Jean, Martha, and Ruth. The children were born between about 1773 and 1797.
-------------------------
Perhaps Elizabeth was a sister of Francis Robison, and that after the death of her husband, Thomas Thompson? - she arranged to sell their land mentioned above to her brother.
