William Paul Kidd, 49, of LaPorte, Ind., formerly of Chesapeake, died Sunday in LaPorte. Surviving; son, Danny of Chelyan; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Scott of Chelyan; stepmother, Mrs. Catherine Kidd of Chesapeake; brothers, Doug Kidd of Dry Branch, Harold Kidd of Michigan, Eugene Kidd of Florida; sisters, Mrs. Arbutus Lanham of South Charleston, Mrs. Wanda Hendricks of Virginia, Mrs. Drema Withrow of Minor, Ohio, Mrs. Darlene Kidd of Chesapeake; stepsister, Mrs. Maudelle Swindler of Romance.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Wet Branch Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Long officiating. Burial will be in Ronda Cemetery, Ronda. The body will be taken to the Church an hour before service.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ellison Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
