Earl Albert Lawhorn, 82, of Harrisonville, Ohio formerly of Charleston, w.va., died Oct. 20, 2000, in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, W.VA., after a short illness. He was a retired machinist and a member of Moose Lodge, St. Albans, w.va. He was a veteran of World War 2. Surviving: sons, Raymond of Illinois,James and John, both of Campbells Creek, w.va., George of Lakewood,Colo.; daughters, Carol Brown of Rand,w.va.,Arleen Lawhorn of Harrisonville, Alma Rogers ofElkhart, Ind., Loretta Gibson and Vierra Gibson, both of Campbells Creek, Delores Estes of Middleport, Vanessa Green of Charleston; brothers, Kenneth Lawhorn of Placerville, Calif., Coy Lawhorn of Elkhart, Ind.; sister, Marion Durham of Harrisonville; 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, W.VA., with the Rev. Theran Durham, the Rev. James E. Brown and the Rev. Samantha Hudnall officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
