GEORGE BRANDLE to HENRY SHORE, A DEED
This Indenture made this the 30th day of January one thousand eight hundred and five between GEORGE BRANDLE of the County of [Surry crossed out with Stokes written above] Stokes and State of North Carolina of the one part and HENRY SHORE of Surry County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said GEORGE BRANDLE for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & twenty four dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given and granted and by these presents doth give and grant unto the said HENRY SHORE his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate on the South side of DEEP CREEK containing eighty seven acres more or less part of a tract of 600 acres granted to FREDERICK LONG bearing date 23rd day of September 1785 beginning at a corner stone in WEATHERMAN's line then South West corner of the said tract runs thence East on WEATHERMAN's line twenty five chains to a Hickory saplin thence North thirty four chains to a black oak on the bank of said creek thence up the same as its meander to a post oak on the bank of said creek thence South 35 degrees East 44 poles to a spanish oak in the old line thence South to the beginning including eighty seven acres of land together with every right and privilege belonging or in any way appurtaining to the said land and he the said GEORGE BRANDLE doth hereby bind himself heirs well and timely to warrant and defend the said premises with all its appurtenances to him the said HENRY SHORE and assigns forever free and clear from the just claims of all persons whatever. In Testimony whereof I the said GEORGE BRANDLE have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written.

FREDERICK SHORE to JOHN SHORE a Deed --
This indenture made this seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five between FREDERIC SHORES of the County of Surry and State of North Carolina of the one part and JOHN SHORES of the same County and State of the other part; witnesseth that the said FREDERIC SHORES for and in consideration of the natural affection he hath to his son JOHN SHORES and also in consideration of fifty pounds paid by the said JOHN SHORES to the said FREDERIC'S SON HENRY SHORES before the signing & sealing of these presents that the said FREDERIC SHORES hath this day bargained & sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell enforss and convey a good Right in fee simple unto JOHN SHORES of one hundred and sixty acres of land lying on both sides of DEEP CREEK beginning at a Hickory on STANFIELDs line runs west thirty two chains & twenty five links to a pine thence south forty chains to a stake in JAMES WELLS line, thence east thirty five chains & twenty five links to a stake thence north crossing said Creek to the beginning including sixty acres conveyed by HENRY SPEER to FREDERIC SHORES and by a Misue? conveyance bearing date the 8th September 1788 also one hundred and one acres part of 500 acres conveyed to said FREDERIC SHORES by a deed bearing date 10th Aug 1762 assigned by JOHN EARL GRANVILLEs agent to have and to hold the said one hundred and sixty acres of land with the appurtenances and all rights and privileges and improvements in anywise belonging to him the said FREDERIC SHORES free and clear from all incumbrance whatever and the said FREDERIC SHORES for himself his heirs Executors &C doth covenant and agree to and with the said JOHN SHORES that he the said JOHN SHORES and his heirs shall & may forever peaceably and quietly have hold occupy possess and enjoy the said one hundred and sixty one acres of land without the let? hindrance or molestation of any person or persons whatever free and clear from all incumbrances and the said FREDERIC SHORES doth agree that after his death and the death of his wife BARBARA to warrant the said tract of land to the said JOHN SHORES and his heirs and assigns forever from the just claims of any person whatever. In witness whereof I FREDERIC SHORES have hereunto set my hand and affixed by seal the day and year above written.

This indenture made this the thirteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, between NIMROD ELLIOT of the County of Surry and State of North Carolina of the one part HENRY SHORES of the same County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth the aforesaid NIMROD ELLIOT, for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby fully acknowledged, hath given and granted and by these presents doth give and grant unto the sd HENRY SHORE his heirs and assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land situate in the sd County and State aforesaid and on the south side of the SOUTH FORK of DEEP CREEK, containing one hundred and four and a half acres, left to him the sd NIMROD ELLIOTT by WILLIAM ELLIOTT diseast, his Father's last will and testament and also a small tract purchased by the sd NIMROD ELLIOTT of GEORGE BRANDEL containing five acres including the hall -- Beginning at the head of the STILL-HOUSE BRANCH, runs South forty five degrees West, and hundred and sixteen poles to a spanish oak, thence East one hundred and eighty poles to a spanish oak thence North 35 degrees East forty four poles to a post oak on the bank of said creek, thence up the same 40 degrees West fifty seven poles to the mouth of sd branch, thence up the same and meandering to the Beginning, containing in the whole one hundred and four and a half acres be the same less as more, together with every right and privilege belonging or any way appurtaining to the sd land and he the sd NIMROD ELLIOTT doth hereby bind himself his heirs well and timely to warrant and forever defend the sd premises with all its appurtenances, to him the sd HENRY SHORE his heirs and assigns free and clear from the just claims of all persons whatever. In testimony whereof I the sd NIMROD ELLIOTT have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written --
