    RESIDENCE: Granted certificate from Fairfax to Gunpowder in 1791 to marry Sarah Price; William long removed, granted certificate from Fairfax to Indian Spring MM in 1797; William and Sarah were members of Washington PM, which belonged to Indian Spring MM, MD. When that meeting was transferred to Alexandria MM in 1817, they were automatically transferred;

    RELIGION: Requested membership in 1790 at Fairfax; Elder at Washington PM; Disowned in 1825, but reinstated in 1834 at Alexandria MM. He failed in business, owing far more than his assets. Treated some creditors unjustly to favor others, for which he was disowned;
