Repository: Media: Other Page: THE ONAGA HERALD, Jun 13, 1907 Text: Last evening Fred Brown's team caused a little excitement on the streets. They were tied in front of Webster & Webster's and were hitched to a lumber wagon. Baptist Dulac passed the team with his automobile going at a lively clip, and the horses took fright and broke loose. They ran up on the cement sidewalk in front of Hall's barber shop, and when they again took to the street the wagon broke three sections of the cement gutter in front of the shop. In the middle of the street the reach to the wagon broke leaving the wagon-bed and rear running gears sitting in the road while the team took the front wheels with them. The horses took a spin around the east part of town and finally wound up in S. P. Taylor's yard where they were caught.
