        Text: Erwin "Whitey", "Stubby" Stevens, 83, of Jordan died Thursday at community General Hospital. He was born in Jordan and attended Jordan schools. He retired in 1982 after 45 years as a head roller with Crucible Specialty Metals. He was a member of the Westvale Seventh-day Adventist Chruch. His first wife, the former Luella Ingersoll, died in 1988. Survivors: His wife of 10 years, the former Joyce Gepford; a son, Merwin E. of Liverpool; a daughter Lynee R. Hamm of Jordan' two stepson, Bob Franklin of Antioch, Ca and Denny Gepford of Atlanta; two stepdaughters, Kerry Franklin of Grass Valley, CA and Elain O'Dell of Raleigh, NC; three sisters, Eva Tatro of Savona, Gladys DiRisio of Jordan and Mabel Perotti of North Syracuse; a brother, Raymond Clements of Jordan; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services: Will be in Westvale Sevetnh-day Adventist Church. Burial , private. Calling hours, 4 to 7 pm Monday at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W.
